**Purpose of the Role**
-----------------------


The Contract Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management, performance, and compliance of security system maintenance and installation contracts across all sites. This includes CCTV, alarm systems, electric fencing, and integrated security platforms, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and alignment with company HSEC standards and mine procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**

### **1\. Contract \& Compliance Management**

* Ensure full compliance with all HSEC requirements, mine standards, and operational procedures.
* Enforce adherence to OEM specifications, SAIDSA standards, SANS requirements, and contractual KPIs.
* Manage supplier obligations relating to service delivery, safety, and system integrity.
* Ensure all licenses, warranties, and software agreements remain valid and up to date.

### **2\. Maintenance \& Operations Oversight**

* Oversee daily maintenance of all security systems, including:
	+ Alarm systems
	+ CCTV infrastructure
	+ Electric fencing
	+ Integrated security platforms
* Ensure execution of an approved maintenance plan (minimum 9\-hour daily coverage, flexible shifts).
* Monitor system uptime, performance, and fault resolution in line with contractual KPIs.
* Ensure immediate corrective action for high\-risk system failures.

### **3\. Asset \& Infrastructure Management**

* Ensure availability and condition of:
	+ Vehicles, tools, and equipment
	+ Spare parts and stock (as per BOQ)
	+ PPE and safety compliance items
* Oversee replacement and repair of defective equipment within 24 hours of PO approval.
* Validate that all replacement components meet or exceed existing system specifications.

* Monitor LAN/WAN performance and availability.

* Approve and monitor timelines for new installations and system enhancements.

The IT \& OT Supplier Governance Specialist is accountable for the commercial, contractual, and operational integrity of Service Provider suppliers and subcontractors delivering into IT and OT environments under the SDM's client portfolio. This role exists because supplier\-delivered service is still Nexio's accountability \- a failure, breach, or governance gap at a subcontractor is a failure at Nexio, not a pass\-through risk.
The role owns supplier performance against contracted terms, not supplier relationship management for its own sake. It converges IT and OT supplier governance into a single accountability point, closing the gap where OT vendors (network, infrastructure, industrial/operational systems) are often governed less rigorously than IT vendors \- despite carrying equal or greater client, safety, and compliance exposure.

* Supplier Performance \& Compliance — Service Provider and subcontractor delivery measured against SLA, contractual, and regulatory obligations across both IT and OT environments \- not assumed, verified.

The Service Desk Manager (Assurance) is accountable for the operational performance of the service desk function and for verifying that service desk delivery consistently meets documented process, quality, and SLA standards — not just that tickets are being closed. This role exists because a service desk can appear operationally healthy on volume and closure metrics while quietly failing on quality, first\-time\-fix, and process adherence — and those gaps only surface once they've already damaged client trust.
The role owns the day\-to\-day management of the service desk team (triage, escalation discipline, shift coverage) alongside a formal assurance function — quality scoring, process adherence auditing, and coaching — that confirms the desk operates to the standard defined in SOPs, rather than to individual agent habit.

### **Expertise \& Technical Competencies**


Minimum Qualification


* A Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics, Mathematics, Risk Management, Accounting, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance or a related field.


Minimum Experience


* A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Credit risk model development, statistical modelling and validation in a credit risk management environment.
* Proven experience developing, validating, and maintaining credit risk models, including PD, LGD, EAD, expected loss, and stress testing models.
* Experience in credit management in the banking and/or financial services sectors.
* Demonstrated experience in PD, LGD and EAD model development.
* Solid experience in Basel compliance and IRB approach model development.
* In\-depth knowledge of Project Finance simulation modelling as well as scorecard models.
* Solid understanding of IFRS 9 standards and regulatory risk modelling.
* Detailed knowledge of Capital management. Experience in calculating Pillar I and Pillar II credit risk capital, stress testing scenarios and Economic Capital calculations.
* Practical knowledge of Credit Risk Management.
* Solid experience in Microsoft Office (MS\-Word, MS Excel (at an expert level of proficiency), MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
* Advanced data manipulation and management skills. Demonstrated experience in SAS and/or SQL for model development and data manipulation.
* Solid experience in Stakeholder Management.


Desirable Requirements


* A Postgraduate Degree in Informatics, Mathematics, Risk Management, Accounting, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance or a related field.
* Knowledge of financial structuring and doing business in the Rest of Africa.
* Experience in working with SOEs, DFIs and public finance institutions.
* Experience in risk\-based pricing models.
