 Role Summary
   

  

 Formulation of different AI whilst adhering to UPL BOM procedures, handling of dangerous goods including flammables and hazardous, maintain accuracy and efficiency of processes \- OEE, CCP, RFT, SHEQ,5S, yields attainment and deliver daily production targets as per scheduled daily plan.

* The Junior Transport Analyst is accountable for validating and reconciling successful deliveries in a PDI Logistics Cloud (PLC) scheduling system and SAP, ensuring accuracy in load reconciliation and closure; ensuring that correct customers are eventually invoiced with the correct product and quantity.
* Daily Recording of stock movements for transport operations as result of any monitoring activities of the trip fulfilling done by the bulk vehicle operators (BVOs) using on\-board vehicles computers (OVCs).
* Lead investigations into transactions or deliveries that require customer credit notes due to short deliveries, spillages, or contamination, and advise Finance accordingly.
* Follows up with road transport contractors, when necessary, regarding questions or clarifications to trips executed.

* Together with the transport supervisors/trainers coach BVOs on usage of OVCs, and highlight any inefficiencies by the RTC and none use of the OVC device

* Dredging material: To initiate and advise Dredge Master on best possible pipe positioning for maximun effectiveness and accuracy and maximum dredged quantities.
* Reclaimed material: Initiating and monitoring this sensitive process to prevent blockages by adjusting flows and communicating with shore based support. This includes overseeing the safe coupling of the floating line and the technique of rain bowing.
* Maintenance of the entire system of sidetrail, pumps, winches etc (all the equipment that is used by the pipeman).


 Qualifications and Experience
   

  

* Grade 12 (NQF4\) with Maths and Science or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years applicable experience
* Mechanical background would be advantageous. OR
* Demonstrated basic numeracy and literacy
* 5 years’ relevant experience to the position applied for.CompetenciesKnowledge required:
* Mechanical background
* First aid at sea certificate
* Advance firefighting certificate
* Restricted radiotelephone operators’ certificate (MARINE)
* Personal safety and social responsibilities with personal survival techniques. Skills Required:
* Numeracy and computer literacy
* Code 8 drivers license B
* Determine safe sea working conditions.
* To be able to repair minor breakdowns and damages at sea.
