**Employee Relations Manager**

 **PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**


The Employee Relations Manager is a group\-level specialist responsible for managing all employee relations and industrial relations matters across the enterprise. This role exists to protect the organisation from labour\-related risk by ensuring full compliance with all relevant South African labour legislation, representing the company at the CCMA.
  

  

The incumbent serves as the primary subject\-matter expert on employee and employer rights, providing guidance to HR teams and line managers across all entities. Experience in neighbouring countries’ labour legislation is advantageous given the group’s footprint across Southern and West Africa.

 **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Industrial Relations \& CCMA**

* Represent the company at CCMA conciliation and arbitration proceedings, preparing all documentation, witness statements, and legal arguments.
* Manage all aspects of dispute resolution including unfair dismissal claims, unfair labour practice disputes, and mutual interest matters.
* Prepare and present cases at arbitration hearings, ensuring thorough preparation of bundles, chronologies, and witness coaching.
* Track and report on all CCMA matters, providing regular updates on case status, outcomes, costs, and trends.

 **Disciplinary \& Grievance Management**

* Oversee and advise on all disciplinary processes across the group, ensuring procedural and substantive fairness in line with the Labour Relations Act (LRA) and the company disciplinary code.
* Advise on disciplinary hearings for serious and complex matters including misconduct, incapacity, and operational requirements.
* Manage the end\-to\-end grievance procedure, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and documentation of all employee grievances.
* Maintain accurate records of all disciplinary and grievance proceedings.
* Legislative Compliance \& Policy
* Ensure group\-wide compliance with all relevant South African labour legislation including the LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA, COIDA, and UIF.
* Draft, review, and update employee relations policies, procedures, and the company disciplinary code to reflect legislative changes and best practice.
* Monitor legislative developments and proactively communicate the impact of changes to HR leadership and line management.
* Support Employment Equity compliance and reporting where it intersects with employee relations matters.

 **Advisory \& Training**

* Serve as the primary point of contact and advisor to HR Business Partners and line managers across all entities on ER/IR matters.
* Develop and deliver training programmes for managers on disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, managing poor performance, and basic labour law.
* Provide proactive risk assessments and recommendations to mitigate employee relations exposure across the group.
* Coach and upskill on ER best practice and legislative compliance.
* Reporting \& Analytics
* Develop and maintain an ER case management tracker covering disciplinary actions, grievances, CCMA cases, and outcomes.
* Produce monthly and quarterly ER reports for the HR Executive, highlighting trends, risks, costs, and recommendations.
* Analyse ER data to identify patterns and root causes, proposing preventative strategies to reduce recurring issues.

 **QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE**

**Required**

* Relevant degree in Labour Law, Labour Relations, Human Resources, or LLB.
* Minimum 7–10 years of dedicated employee/industrial relations experience, with substantial exposure to CCMA arbitration and conciliation.
* Proven track record of independently representing an employer at CCMA proceedings.
* In\-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation.
* Strong experience in conducting workplace investigations and preparation for disciplinary hearings.

This is a senior leadership role that owns the operations function end to end. **Role Purpose**


The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading the Planning function across Local, Import, and Promotional product portfolios, ensuring that stock availability and efficiency targets are consistently achieved across the business.


This role manages a team of Demand Planners, Junior Planners and Order Administrators, driving excellence in forecasting, replenishment and inventory management. A key focus of the role is optimizing stock efficiency addressing excess and slow\-moving inventory, ensuring healthy stock rotation, and maintaining optimal availability in stores and warehouses.


The Demand Planning Manager plays a strategic role in supporting buying and commercial decisions through strong analytical insight, proactive risk management, and effective collaboration across Supply Chain, Buying and Operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead and develop the Planning team by coaching Demand Planners, Junior Planners, and Order Administrators, setting clear objectives and KPIs, and fostering a high performance, collaborative culture.
* Oversee demand planning and replenishment by ensuring accurate forecasting, optimizing replenishment parameters, managing supply constraints, and maintaining data integrity within planning systems.
* Drive inventory efficiency by balancing product availability with inventory investment, reducing excess and obsolete stock, leading stock health reviews, and collaborating with Buying on actions such as promotions, markdowns, and supplier returns.
* Manage range transitions by leading the planning of new product launches and discontinued ranges, providing demand insights, coordinating with Buying and Merchandising, and ensuring accurate system setup and communication.
* Collaborate across functions by acting as the link between Planning, Buying, Logistics, Stores, and Finance to align supply and demand, improve supply chain performance, and support inventory and financial reporting.

**Qualifications and Experience**

* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field (Postgraduate qualification advantageous).
* 5–8 years experience in demand and supply planning, inventory management or merchandise planning, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
* Minimum of 2–3 years experience in a leadership or team management role.
* Strong knowledge of demand forecasting and replenishment systems such as Relex, SAP, Oracle, JDA or similar planning platforms.

Demand Planning Manager

We are currently seeking a **detail\-oriented, organised, and proactive Sales Admin Coordinator – Exports** to join the Sales Admin team at **Bliss Brands,** at our Sunninghill Offices. This role plays a critical part in supporting the export sales function by ensuring accurate order processing, compliance, and efficient coordination with customers and internal stakeholders.

### **Responsibilities**

* Capture, process, and track export sales orders accurately on the ERP system
* Verify pricing, quantities, Incoterms, and customer requirements against confirmed orders
* Monitor order status from receipt through to dispatch and delivery
* Prepare and manage export documentation, including:
* + Commercial invoices
	+ Packing lists
	+ Certificates of origin
	+ Bills of lading
* Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, and internal controls
* Act as first point of contact for export customers regarding order status and queries
* Prepare pro\-forma invoices
* Open new export and local customer accounts on the ERP system
* Provide general administrative support to the Sales Admin team

### **Requirements**

* Completed **Matric (Grade 12\)**
* A **certificate or diploma in Sales Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain** (advantageous)
* **2–3 years’ experience** in sales administration, preferably within FMCG exports
* Experience with **ERP systems (Oracle / JDE advantageous)**
* Strong computer literacy, especially **MS Office (Excel)**
