POSITION INFO: Job & Company description: Our client is a well-established organisation in the heavy machinery sector, specialising in container handling, material handling, and mining equipment. They provide maintenance, repair, and technical support services to a wide range of industrial clients. Known for reliability and service excellence, they operate in demanding environments where uptime and performance are critical. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults on heavy equipment. Carry out preventative maintenance and routine servicing to ensure optimal machine performance. Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot technical issues. Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness standards. Accurately complete job cards, reports, and parts requisitions while ensuring all work meets quality and turnaround time requirements. Job Experience and Skills Required: Trade Test Certificate (Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, or similar) - essential 3-5 years' experience in a heavy machinery or workshop environment Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, and electrical systems Experience working on forklifts, reach stackers, or similar equipment (advantageous) Ability to troubleshoot, work independently, and perform under pressure Apply now!
