Warehouse Manager

Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the handling, storage and distribution of goods
• Maintain strict controls over stock levels in order to meet internal and external demands
• Plan warehouse space accordingly
• Conduct cycle counts and stock takes
• Identify discrepancies between stock records and take action
• Assist with receiving and checking of all deliveries from suppliers (internal/external)
• Lead and manage a team
• Co- ordinate with other departments
• Develop policies and procedures for warehouse activities
• Ensure health and safety standards are met
• Establish, monitor and maintain high standards of security
• Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained
• Maintain a clean and tidy work enviornment

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric
• Minimum 4 years working experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Planning and Organising
• Energetic, confident, presentable, self-starter who works well independently;
• Possesses exceptional attention to detail and is committed to delivering quality output.

Pay: R25 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
