Job description
I'm looking for a highly organized Trucking Dispatch & Operations Assistant who can manage dispatch communication, email-based customer updates, and day-to-day administrative tasks. This role pays $5–$6/hour.
About the Role:
This company is a trucking and transportation company that manages freight deliveries and driver operations, and they are looking to bring on a Trucking Dispatch & Operations Assistant to help with load bidding, dispatch coordination, customer communication, and administrative support.
You will work primarily through email and internal systems, coordinate updates between drivers and customers, maintain organized records, and support additional operational tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Bid on available freight loads through email and load boards.
• Communicate driver ETAs and shipment updates to customers.
• Organize email inboxes and properly file customer information.
• Maintain customer and operational data in Google Sheets.
• Schedule or create basic company social media posts.
Tools You Will Be Using:
• Ooma Office for business communications
• Connecteam for driver communication
• Google Sheets for data tracking
• Google Workspace for email and documents
• Send TMS for transportation management
• Selectus for freight load searching
