Job description

Sales Representative – FTL Tautliners

Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

This is a high-impact "hunter" role focusing exclusively on companies requiring high-volume palletized transport. You will target high-yield manufacturers and distributors, building a strong sales pipeline to fill our regional lanes and eliminate empty legs.

Key Responsibilities: Prospect and secure corporate clients in sectors like FMCG, packaging, beverage, retail, and electronics that rely on Tautliner configurations.

Optimize Fleet Utilization: Secure consistent outbound and return-leg volumes to ensure maximum revenue per kilometer for our Tautliner combinations.

Structure competitive, profitable freight quotes and tender documents factoring in fuel price variables, toll fees, and vehicle tracking costs.

Act as the primary commercial contact, ensuring client SLA requirements are met and building long-term account value.

Requirements & Qualifications Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of proven B2B sales experience specifically within FTL Tautliner road freight (Non-negotiable).

Industry Network: Existing relationships with key logistics managers and shippers in the FMCG, industrial, or retail sectors is highly advantageous.

Mobility: Valid South African Driver’s License and your own reliable vehicle are strictly required
