Technical Trainer

• Conduct technical training with demonstrated competence.
• Communicate the Technical Training Calendar via the intranet, LMS or Service Portal.
• Ensure Input into post-course invoicing of training as required.
• Confirmation of minimum standards required and met to achieve certification.
• Ensure facilitation of Training Attendance registers and submission to the admin team.
• Conducting regular technical Training Needs Analysis assessment of our service employees.
• Planning of the required training support tools, with pre-course checking and set-up, including housekeeping and hospitality.
• Ensure On-line reporting into German training system (MAN|My Learning).
• Prepare and submit Formal Training and Academy reports.

Qualifications:

• National Diploma /Degree / B-Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering.
• Certified Diesel Technician and/or Auto Electrician and/or Mechatronics Engineering.

Skills:

• Reliable, performance oriented and self-motivated.
• Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
• Work independently though being a team player.
• Work well under pressure and maintain good customer relations.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of MerSETA and SETA.
• Heavy duty driver’s licence and professional driving permit.

Experience:

• Experience in co-ordination or training planning - 3 years.
• Hands-on training support material - 5 years.
• Experience in professional facilitation - 2 years.
• Commercial vehicle experience in a technical/ workshop environment - 10 years
