Aluvent is seeking a highly organized, technically minded Technical Coordinator to play a pivotal role in delivering our bespoke aluminium and glass projects from concept to successful installation.

This is far more than an administrative coordination role. You will be responsible for ensuring technical clarity and seamless communication between Sales, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Installation Teams and Clients, assisting in delivering projects that are technically sound, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role

As Technical Coordinator, you will be pivotable on the coordination of projects from quotation handover through to final installation, ensuring that every department has the correct technical information needed to execute successfully.

You will play a critical role in technical detail, design, planning, quality assurance and communication. Proactively identifying risks and resolving issues prior impact realization is the key success on project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications and client requirements. Focus on the Windows, Doors and Glass areas of design & supply.
  • Verifying measurements, drawings and technical information before manufacturing commences.
  • Ensure technical information is accurately communicated between Sales, Planning, Design, Procurement and Manufacturing departments
  • Identify technical or operational issues early and implement practical solutions.
  • Support design planning and scheduling based on priorities and available capacity.
  • Monitor and advise on project workflow to ensure efficient execution and on-time delivery.
  • Involved on bespoke projects from quotation approval through to final installation.
  • Verifying customer satisfaction has been achieved after installation.
  • Participating on project progress and communicate updates, risks and changes to stakeholders.
  • Monitor quality throughout design, manufacturing and installation. Deviations to be communicated to relevant sections to ensure full client satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Technical Coordination, Technical advising and team lead role.
  • Experience within the aluminium doors and windows, glass, façade, construction or manufacturing industry will be a requirement.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Sound understanding of manufacturing and installation processes.
  • Strong computer literacy along with experience using Drawing aids and Microsoft office packages
  • Valid driver's license.
  • A relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline will be advantageous.
