Key performance areas
Planning and organizing
- Identify learning outcomes
- Teaching guidelines understood
- Identified equipment and resources required
- Set up venue/classroom to deliver learning
- Learning schedules compiled and communicated
· Lesson Plan/Facilitator Guide
- Practical – structured learning on-line & classrooms
Facilitate Teaching and Learning
- Deliver quality training which includes learnership, short skills, KM & PM / Unit Standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure that trainees can achieve the required level of competence and understand the safe working procedures and regulatory requirements according to our company QMS
- Delivery of learning to learners is clear and concise
- Delivery of learning meets learner needs
- Deliver learning at learners’ pace
- Adapt learning to real life situations and ever-changing environment
- Use of materials to facilitate learning
- Effectiveness of the learning event
- Learner management on communication platforms
- Provide input into the design and development of the training curriculum to ensure the accredited courses stay abreast with new developments in the industry
· Follow training schedules
Assessment of Learners
- Preparation for the assessment
- Planning of assessments for KM & PM’s and Unit Standards where applicable
Learner Administration
- Liaise all administration with your dedicated Project Administrator
- Timeous reporting
- Prepare relevant training documents
- Maintain learner P.O.E.
- Maintain training materials and assessments in line with QCTO Accreditation, SHEQ and Operational requirements.
- Transfer completed modules to POE on completion.
- Request any needs in morning meetings (documents, material, stationery, copying, consumables, other resources etc.)
- Provide learner result feedback (SOR)
- Maintain and Monitor assessment results and records (Formative PM & KM)
- Identify possible bursary candidates
- Maintain health and safety of learners
Qualification
· Have a Business Degree or Higher Certificate on NQF Level 6 or higher
· Bilingual (English and Afrikaans- additional language is an advantage)
· Registered Assessor & Moderator with ETDP Seta
· Able to train on-line and face to face
· Be knowledgeable on SAQA, SETAs, QCTO and NQF regulations
· Strong administrative skills
· Computer Literate a must (MS-Office, Emails (Outlook), Internet on-line applications)
· Must be able to work in a fast passed environment
Desired Experience
- Able to apply or devise methods of analysis, using the results to solve complex HR/OD issues.
- Experience of training, (one to one, virtual, classroom).
- 3-5 years’ experience on Management level.
- A passion for coaching or training and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
