Career Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Supply Chain Controller at Falke Eurosocks in Bellville, Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
· Receiving and processing of finished goods
· Warehouse storage and inventory control
· Product labelling
· Packing, order picking, Dispatch and Inventory management.
· Conduct regular Inspections
· Ensure compliance with Standard Operating procedures for Supply Chain Department.
· Barcode scanning and RF scanner operation
· Inventory reconciliation and variance investigation.
· Data entry accuracy, record management and documentation control
· Material handling equipment awareness
· Quality management and inspection of the finished product determine whether a pair is classified as a first or a cutout.
· Making sure that orders are picked and packed intime to meet the required delivery date.
· Understanding of textile finished goods handling and storage requirements.
· Ensure that you meet your daily production target.
· Ensure that all work is completed right the first time.
· Ensure that your workstation is clean, tidy and no eating at your workstation
· Always Abide by the POPI Act and raise any concerns regarding the POPI act with your manager.
· Act in the best interest of the company.
· Comply with all legal requirements, including the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct displayed in the company.
Requirements
· Skills and knowledge gained in the business will be advantageous.
· Must have basic literacy skills and numeracy skills
· Must comply to the company’s rules & regulations
· The ability to pay attention to details
· Be able to work shifts
· Be punctual
· Willingness to work overtime
· Be able to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
· Customer service awareness.
· Ability to work accurately.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
