Outdoor Warehouse In-store Coordinator

The Outdoor Warehouse In-store Coordinator will be part of the Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. This exciting role operates out of our Head Office in Cape Town.

The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of retail brand management, from in-store development and promotional execution to digital integration and event coordination. They will collaborate with major international brands and engage with various media channels, playing an active role in strategy development and ensuring the seamless execution of Outdoor Warehouse’s brand initiatives. This role offers valuable exposure to the full spectrum of retail marketing, providing the opportunity to contribute to high-impact campaigns and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities:

● Work directly with the Marketing Manager to develop, execute, and coordinate brand strategies.

● Create and manage clear briefs, ensuring effective execution by relevant stakeholders.

● Support the planning and rollout of promotional materials in collaboration with the design, merchandising, and operational teams.

● Assist in coordinating media production and branding rollouts for new stores.

● Ensure in-store branding and customer experience align with the overall brand strategy.

● Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align in-store and digital activations.

● Assist in managing Outdoor Warehouse’s sponsored events, ensuring seamless execution and brand visibility.

● Working closely with operational, design, and merchandise teams, as well as external partners, to ensure smooth project execution.

● Oversee interdepartmental and supplier traffic management to maintain workflow efficiency.

Requirements

· Degree or diploma in marketing, advertising or business management.

· Recent graduate, or Junior with 1 year experience in a relevant marketing or brand coordinator role.

· Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques.

· Experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects at once.

· Exposure to campaign execution (promotions, activations or events).

· Experience in retail is advantageous

· A valid driver's license.
