About The Role
We are hiring Software and AI Trainers to join our delivery team. This is an entry level position. We are hiring up to five people for this role.
The role has three parts. You will help build software. You will do research. You will train AI systems and train the people who use them.
This is a starting point for a career in software, AI, and research. You do not need prior work experience. You need a Computer Science degree and the willingness to learn.
Building Software
- Help build and maintain customised software applications for our clients.
- Write and test code as part of the delivery team.
- Fix bugs and improve existing systems.
- Work with senior developers and learn from them as you build.
Doing Research
- Research AI applications and how they create value for businesses.
- Research new technologies and report what you find to the delivery team.
- Investigate how our clients use software and AI, so we can improve what we build.
- Help gather the research that supports our projects and proposals.
AI Training
- Train AI systems with the data and examples they need to work correctly.
- Prepare training materials that explain software and AI applications in simple language.
- Run training sessions for our clients and our internal teams.
- Support users after handover so they can use the software with confidence.
What We Are Looking For
- A Computer Science degree.
- No experience, or up to two years of experience.
- An interest in building software and learning how systems work.
- A willingness to do careful research and present what you find.
- Clear written and spoken communication.
- A patient and helpful approach to training others.
- A willingness to learn and grow.
What We Offer
- A monthly salary between R20,000 and R26,000.
- A remote position, so you can work from anywhere in South Africa.
