Job description

Key responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operation of the slot machine area.
Supervise and schedule slot attendants and other casino staff.
Ensure slot machines are operating correctly and report technical issues.
Monitor machine performance, payouts and revenue.
Assist guests with slot-machine queries, credits and payouts.
Handle customer complaints and resolve disputes professionally.
Ensure all casino transactions and cash/credit procedures are properly controlled.
Monitor the casino floor for suspicious activity and compliance issues.
Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and cruise-line policies.
Prepare operational, financial and performance reports.
Train and coach casino staff.
Monitor staff performance and enforce company procedures.
Work closely with the Casino Manager and other casino departments.
Assist with casino opening/closing procedures and audits.
Maintain high standards of guest service and casino presentation.
Participate in emergency procedures and shipboard safety drills.

Requirements:

Previous casino experience, particularly with slot operations.
Experience supervising or managing casino staff.
Knowledge of slot machines, casino procedures and gaming regulations.
Strong cash-handling and numerical skills.
Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
Good English.
Ability to work long shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.
Previous cruise-ship casino experience is often an advantage.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and live onboard for the contract.

Pay: R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
