Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into SETA-aligned programmes. Manage funding applications, compliance and reporting, ensure effective programme delivery, provide data-driven insights for decision-making, and implement solutions aligned to evolving Skills Development requirements and organisational priorities.

Qualifications Minimum qualifications

Degree in Human Resources Management / Social Science.

Experience required

  • Minimum 5 -7 years demonstrated experience within Learning and Skills Development with evidence of contribution to the P&C practice.
  • Pro-actively ensure learning and Skills Development programmes meet South African regulatory, SETA, accreditation and BBBEE requirements by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and maintaining compliance with applicable standards.
  • Track record of applying programme and project management principles to plan, coordinate and manage multiple learning and skills development initiatives simultaneously, ensuring structured execution and delivery outcomes.
  • Partner with Learning and Development teams and other stakeholders to align Skills Development initiatives with broader learning programmes, ensuring effective utilisation of SETA opportunities.
  • Must be able to analyse programme, learner and financial data to assess performance and effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to support stakeholder decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Extensive experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including training providers and delivery partners, ensuring effective collaboration, participation in commercial discussion, and adherence to contractual agreements, SLAs, SETA accreditation requirements, quality standards and delivery expectations.
  • Support workforce capability development by identifying current and future skills requirements and aligning Skills Development initiatives to business priorities and SETA frameworks.
  • Manage the end-to-end operational delivery of learning and skills development programmes, ensuring timelines, dependencies, risks and governance controls are effectively managed.
  • Coordinate and manage SETA funding applications, including preparation, submission, tracking and optimisation of funding opportunities in line with compliance, BBBEE and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor programme spend and provider costs against approved budgets, ensuring financial controls are applied and variances are identified and addressed timeously.
  • Support Skills Development initiatives by analysing capability gaps and available skills data to inform learning and development interventions aligned to workforce and SETA requirements. Identify opportunities to improve Skills Development processes and programme delivery, enhancing efficiency, data integrity and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure Skills Development programmes are delivered in compliance with South African regulatory requirements, SETA frameworks and BBBEE scorecard requirements.
