Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems.
- Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification and authorizing entry.
- Conduct routine security inspections and identify potential hazards or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and incidents, taking appropriate action.
- Prepare accurate incident, accident, and daily activity reports.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist employees, visitors, and customers with security-related concerns.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and management when required.
- Secure company property and assets against theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Required Skills
- Strong observation and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems.
