Professional Hair Stylist – Commission Based
Location: The hair movement salon watercrest mall
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: Commission-based only – no basic salary
About the Role
We are looking for a talented, passionate, and professional Hair Stylist to join our salon team on a commission-only basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated stylist who wants the freedom to grow their income, build a loyal client base, and work in a professional and supportive salon environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, treatments, and blow-drying.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles and treatments.
- Deliver high-quality services with excellent attention to detail.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming workstation and salon environment.
- Stay up to date with current hair trends, techniques, and products.
- Recommend suitable professional hair-care products to clients.
- Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Work positively and professionally as part of the salon team.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Hair Stylist is a must
- Relevant hairdressing qualification or training.
- Strong cutting, styling, colouring, and finishing skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Passionate about hair and creating exceptional client experiences.
- Comfortable working in a commission-only earning structure.
