Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role located in Western Cape, South Africa. The Salesperson will greet customers, introduce menu items, answer questions, and guide guests through their ordering decisions. Daily tasks include handling point-of-sale transactions, managing cash or electronic payments, and ensuring accurate orders. The role involves maintaining product displays, monitoring stock levels, and communicating with the kitchen team to support smooth operations. The Salesperson will also handle basic customer service issues, support promotional activities, and contribute to a clean and orderly front-of-house environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or front-of-house roles, with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with diverse customers.
• Basic sales skills, including recommending products, upselling, and handling questions about menu items and promotions.
• Competence in using point-of-sale systems, managing cash and card transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams in a busy environment.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude, with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
• Prior experience in food service, retail, or hospitality is beneficial; familiarity with health and safety standards is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
