Job Title: Sales Representative (Stone & Granite Industry)Location: Verulam, Durban (KwaZulu-Natal)

Position Type: Full-Time Remuneration: Competitive Market-Related Basic (R8,000 plus commission on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a driven, commercially-minded Sales Representative to join our team in the Verulam/Durban North hub.
This role bridges the gap between material supply and final project execution.
You will actively manage relationships with kitchen fabricators, property developers, architects, and interior designers, promoting our premium range of natural stone, quartz, porcelain, and engineered surfaces.
Whether operating from our showroom or out on the road expanding our North Coast footprint (from Umhlanga up to Ballito), you will act as the technical and aesthetic expert for our clients.Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities with local kitchen fabricators, building contractors, and interior designers.
Client Consultations: Guide walk-in retail clients and trade professionals through slab selection, edge profiles, and material matching.
Project Estimations: Read basic architectural plans, take accurate on-site measurements, and calculate square meterage to generate precise quotes.
Account Management: Maintain and grow existing trade accounts through regular site visits and excellent customer service.
Stock & Logistics Liaison: Coordinate with the warehouse team to check slab availability, manage customer bookings, and track order deliveries.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of successful sales experience within the stone, granite, tiling, kitchen cabinetry, or high-end sanitaryware industries. Technical
Skills: Ability to read basic floor plans and perform accurate physical site measurements.
Mobility: Must possess a valid South African driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (essential for external client and site visits).
Communication: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Location: Residing in or within easy commuting distance of Verulam, Phoenix, Tongaat, or Umhlanga.
