Sales Representative – FMCG Food Distribution (Cape Town)

Market Anatolia is a Cape Town-based importer and distributor of Turkish and international food brands, supplying major retailers, wholesalers, cash & carry outlets, and foodservice customers across South Africa. We're looking for a driven Sales Representative to grow our customer base and service existing accounts.

What you'll do

• Identify and open new accounts across wholesale, cash & carry, independent retail, and restaurant/foodservice channels
• Visit existing customers on a structured call cycle, take orders, and grow basket size
• Introduce new product lines and promotions to buyers
• Build strong relationships with store owners, buyers, and chefs
• Provide market feedback on pricing, competitors, and product opportunities
• Work with our operations team to ensure smooth order fulfilment

What we're looking for

• 2–5 years' sales experience in FMCG, food distribution, or wholesale (essential)
• Proven track record of opening new accounts
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence (essential)
• Self-motivated, comfortable working independently on the road
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the Cape Town wholesale/retail trade is a strong advantage

What we offer

• Basic salary + commission on sales
• Petrol/travel allowance

Pay: R12 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
