About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager for Used Vehicles to lead our sales team and drive sales performance in the pre-owned vehicle market. This role focuses on developing strategies to increase sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure a seamless purchasing experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve monthly sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth in used vehicle sales and improve overall dealership performance.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for expanding our inventory and enhancing our offerings.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure a positive buying experience.
• Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights to upper management on team performance and market conditions.
• Coach team members on effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to automotive sales.

Requirements

• Proven track record in automotive sales or a related field, with demonstrable experience in managing sales teams.
• Strong understanding of the used vehicle market, including pricing, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and motivate team members.
• Valid driver’s license and a good understanding of vehicle specifications and features.

Preferred Qualifications

• Matric Certificate.
• 2+ years of experience in Sales.
• Experience in a managerial role or leadership position within the automotive industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies in the automotive sector would be beneficial.
