Job description

Closing Date: 21 August 2026 Purpose As an NOSA Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring workplace safety, legal compliance, and effective risk management. The role is responsible for conducting HSE/OHS, client-specific, legal, limited-scope audits using the NOSA Five Star Systems and NOSA 10 - Step Process , while delivering accurate audit reports and high-quality consultation services aligned to client requirements. The Auditor contributes to strengthening HSE management systems, supporting clients in meeting statutory and contractual obligations, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and care.

Responsibilities Audit & Consultation Delivery

  • Conduct HSE/OHS, legal, client-specific, and limited-scope audits in line with the NOSA 10-Step methodology.
  • Deliver accurate, reliable, and timely audit outputs and consultation services that meet client expectations.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Compile high-quality, detailed audit reports with minimal rework or amendments required utilising NOSA formats and NOSA scoring methodology.
  • Ensure audit findings are objective, evidence-based, very detailed, clearly articulated, and accepted by clients.
  • Create and maintain complete, accurate, and compliant audit documentation, records in line with POPIA requirements.

Client Engagement & Risk Management

  • Manage client interactions professionally, resolving conflicts effectively to prevent complaints or audit appeals.
  • Provide guidance and advice to clients regarding NOSA System specific requirements, compliance thereto, best practices, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with stakeholders.

Compliance & Professional Standards

  • Maintain all required professional registrations, certifications, and a valid medical certificate of fitness based on a NOSA person job specification.
  • Ensure the protection, correct use, and safekeeping of all tools of the trade.
  • Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and health and safety requirements at all times.
