Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and style-conscious Female Full-Time Retail Sales Assistant with experience in clothing and/or shoes and/or jewellery to join our team at our store in Franschhoek, Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fashion, customer service, and retail sales, who enjoys working in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and styling advice
- Drive sales by meeting and exceeding individual and store targets
- Maintain a strong knowledge of products, including materials, sizing, and current trends
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Assist with visual merchandising and ensure the store is clean, organised, and visually appealing
- Restock shelves and manage inventory levels as needed
- Handle customer queries, returns, and exchanges professionally
- Represent the brand in a positive and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
- Previous retail or sales experience (preferably in fashion or accessories)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for fashion and styling
- Energetic, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience working in boutique or premium retail environments
- Confidence in upselling and building customer relationships
- Basic understanding of retail operations and merchandising
Working Hours:
9am - 5pm, with shifts scheduled based on store needs (week days but can include weekends and peak trading periods).
