Registered Nurse - iLembe

Nurture Health is seeking a compassionate, accountable, and patient-centred Registered Nurse with 5 or more years of experience to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Reporting to the Nursing Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality nursing care, optimising patients’ clinical status, and enabling meaningful participation in rehabilitation programmes. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to achieve exceptional rehabilitation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate nursing care plans, allocate and delegate nursing activities, and monitor patients’ clinical status to ensure safe, effective care.
• Manage medication administration, emergency equipment, emergency responses, wound and continence care, and support safe patient discharge processes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, contribute to clinical decision-making, and maintain accurate clinical reporting.

Requirements

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse, with proven experience managing medically complex patients in a high-demand clinical environment.
• 5+ years of Nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, nursing leadership, delegation, communication, and rehabilitation-focused care planning skills, with the ability to influence interdisciplinary decision-making.
• Passionate about rehabilitation and patient wellbeing, committed to professional ethics, teamwork, continuous learning, adaptability, accountability, and calm decision-making under pressure.
