About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Grade 12 English and Afrikaans Tutor to provide face-to-face tutoring to a Grade 12 learner in Carlswald Estate, Midrand.
The successful candidate must be confident teaching both English and Afrikaans and be able to prepare the learner for school assessments, preliminary examinations, and the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in English and Afrikaans.
- Identify learning gaps and develop strategies to improve learner performance.
- Assist with homework, assignments, and school projects.
- Prepare the learner for tests, examinations, and past paper practice.
- Teach effective study techniques and exam strategies.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster confidence, motivation, and independent learning.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong academic background in English and Afrikaans.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to travel to Carlswald Estate, Midrand for face-to-face lessons.
- Passion for helping learners achieve academic success.
