Position: Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) – Learner Mentor
Employment Type: Contract
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) to provide technical mentorship, guidance and workplace support to CSDG learners participating in a construction training programme at Key Ridge.
The successful candidate will play an important role in helping learners bridge the gap between theory and practical workplace experience, while developing their technical knowledge, professional conduct and construction competencies.
Minimum Requirements
- BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with ECSA.
- Relevant experience in the construction and civil engineering industry.
- Practical construction site experience.
- Good understanding of construction processes, engineering principles and project documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor, coach and develop young/emerging construction professionals.
- Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The successful candidate will assist CSDG learners in developing the practical, technical and professional competencies required to succeed within the construction industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Pr Eng who is passionate about mentoring, skills development and empowering the next generation of construction professionals.
