Hunterlodge is a UK-based full-service agency with a fast-growing portfolio of ambitious clients, particularly in the education and B2B sectors. Following a number of exciting client wins, we’re expanding our media team and are looking for a talented  Paid Search Executive  to join us remotely from South Africa.

Role Overview

As a  Paid Search Specialist , your primary focus will be planning, implementing, optimising, and reporting on  PPC campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads . While experience in Paid Social and Programmatic is a bonus, this role is fundamentally about delivering high-performance  Search campaigns  that exceed client goals.

 

You’ll work closely with strategists, analysts, and creatives to ensure campaigns are built for effectiveness, and you’ll have the opportunity to present results and recommendations directly to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management:  Plan, implement, and optimise Paid Search campaigns (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads), aligned to client KPIs.
  • Ad Operations:  Manage end-to-end set-up, including keyword planning, audience targeting, copywriting and bid strategy optimisation.
  • Performance Optimisation:  Monitor campaigns daily, running A/B tests, analysing search terms, and adjusting strategies to maximise ROI.
  • Reporting & Insight:  Produce clear, insightful performance reports using platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio.
  • Client Communication:  Present results and strategic recommendations to clients in a clear and confident manner.
  • Innovation & Learning:  Stay ahead of the latest search trends, platform updates, and AI tools to ensure we’re constantly improving.

 

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • 2-3 years’ experience managing Paid Search campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, PMax) and Microsoft Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Confidence using Google Analytics, Looker Studio and keyword research tools.
  • Understanding of performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Experience with conversion tracking and UTM tagging.

 

Desirable (but not required):

  • Experience with Paid Social or Programmatic platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Google Ads Certification.
  • Knowledge of AI tools to support campaign optimisation.
