Purpose of the Role The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch while maintaining high productivity, quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring customers receive the correct products on time.

POSITION INFO: Key Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) essential. Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or picking\/packing environment. Experience using handheld scanning devices (RF scanners) is essential. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail when picking and packing orders. Physically fit and able to stand, walk and lift throughout the working day. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high productivity standards. Understanding of warehouse health and safety practices. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick customer orders using handheld scanning devices. Pack orders according to company quality standards. Verify product quantities, sizes and descriptions before dispatch. Assist with stock control, replenishment and cycle counts when required. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets. Report damaged stock, shortages or discrepancies immediately. Follow all warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
