Parts Salesman

Landylogic is looking for a motivated, energetic and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our newly established busy workshop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales, promoting the branch, assisting customers across multiple communication channels and helping to grow our presence in the Cape Town. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who understands cars, enjoys dealing with customers and is willing to assist wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist workshop with automotive parts enquiries order correct parts.
• Assist customers with parts & enquiries.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, emails and WhatsApp messages promptly and professionally.
• Identify the correct parts based on vehicle details, VIN numbers, engine codes and part numbers.
• Develop strong knowledge of Land Rover products, pricing and vehicle applications.
• Follow up on quotations, enquiries and potential sales.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Manage with local stock deliveries and collections when required.
• Receive, check, label and organise incoming stock.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and report stock discrepancies.
• Keep the sales counter, stock area and workplace neat and organised.
• Assist with general branch operations and administrative duties.

Requirements

• Previous sales or customer-service experience.
• Automotive parts or mechanical knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of vehicle makes, models, engines and automotive components.
• Confident using WhatsApp, email and social media platforms.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Organised, reliable and attentive to detail.
• Comfortable performing both sales and hands-on operational duties.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Able to assist with stock deliveries and collections.
• Willingness to continuously learn new products and vehicle applications.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is friendly, driven and confident when dealing with customers. They should be passionate about the automotive industry.

Pay: R13 000,00 - R16 000,00 per month depends on experience

• Automotive Parts Sales: 5 year (Required)
• Mechanical: 5 year (Required)
