Job description
Overall, Purpose of the Position
Facilitate professional, high standard international assistance services pertaining to international travelers and
expatriates overseas for International SOS (Intl.SOS) clients globally. As a key member of the Assistance Team, and
professional knowledge to provide appropriate solutions to Intl. SOS members.
Key responsibilities
A. Case Coordination (Assistance)
- Receive calls from various international locations relating to requests for assistance abroad and ascertain the assistance requirements of Intl.SOS clients.
- Arrange assistance through referrals to approved service providers abroad.
- Gather and organize relevant information from international sources and collate updates for Intl.SOS clients.
- Professionally communicate verbally and/or in writing to relevant parties/clients at various international locations the progress of assistance cases.
- Provide guidance regarding the operational planning and progress of international assistance cases.
- Maintain the Intl.SOS transportation standards in facilitating the logistical arrangements of international transportation to and from overseas locations.
- Escalate as per protocol to the senior management and where required the Corporate Assistance Department (CAD).
B. Client Support & Promotion
- Participate, under the direction of the General Manager/Marketing Manager, in appropriate business development activities, explaining and promoting Intl.SOS’ services to prospective and existing clients.
- Assist in explaining International SOS services to prospective and existing clients as requested.
C. Network Assistance Development
- Collate information and conduct intermittent review of international service providers to enhance the Intl.SOS network of service providers and provide this to the GAN department.
- Conduct provider visits and assessments as needed.
D. Training & Health Education
- Participate under the direction of the General Manager of Country and in consultation with the Marketing Manager in performing for Clients and potential Clients:
- Educational sessions and promotional talks
- Providing Talks for Client Events Job Profile Required Qualification
- Medical Graduate with strong clinical experience in ER, ICU and Flight Medicine
- ACLS & PALS
- Basic Computer literacy

- Good communication & organizational skills
- Ability to provide direction as a team member.
- Responsible & self-disciplined
- Able to do on-call duties.
Required Languages (Brief description of the language skills needed to perform the job)
- Strong English Command
