Job title: Operations Compliance Manager
Location: Boston, KwaZulu-Natal
Job type: Full-time, permanent
An established meat processing and distribution business in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands is seeking an experienced Operations Compliance Manager to ensure that our documented operating procedures, quality standards and daily controls are consistently applied across the business.
This is a hands-on accountability role. You will verify daily operational reports and system data, inspect on site that documented procedures and stock controls are being correctly followed, drive corrective actions and audit findings through to closure, and report daily to the Managing Director. You will also manage the performance of supervisors and staff, including formal disciplinary process where standards are not met.
We are looking for a confident, decisive manager who addresses shortfalls directly and without delay, applies the same standard of verification every day, and is firm but fair in holding colleagues accountable at all levels.
Requirements
Matric
Minimum five years' experience supervising or managing staff, in any sector
Proven experience conducting performance management and formal disciplinary process
Sound working knowledge of the Labour Relations Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act
Computer literate, able to work confidently with operational reports and systems
Valid driver's licence
Prior food or meat industry experience is not required. Full training on our systems and procedures will be provided.
