About the Company

As a well-established food manufacturing business, we pride ourselves on stringent adherence to industry standards while maintaining a stable, supportive, and small-team environment.

We are in search of a highly capable Office Administrator / All-Rounder who will be the supportive backbone for all administrative and operational support functions.

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Front Office and Administration

  • Manage premises access control and visitors.
  • Answer telephones, screen calls, and manage email correspondence.
  • Update invoice records on customer portals.
  • Maintain general office hygiene, which includes dispensing of cleaning chemicals.
  • Basic refreshment duties for management.

Accounts & Reporting

  • Process orders on Sage Pastel Accounting.
  • Compile monthly turnover figures for agencies.
  • Reconcile invoices, GRNs, distribution agent documentation, monthly pallet paperwork, and delivery/vehicle records.

Production and Health & Safety

  • Assist with receiving of goods and signing off on raw materials.
  • Assist in maintaining high food safety standards by updating records, issuing PPE, and overseeing daily facility hygiene and pest control checks.

What You Need

A minimum of Matric / Grade 12.

Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.

A relevant qualification would be highly advantageous.

A proactive, self-starting attitude.

Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

High computer literacy, specifically with MS Office (Word, Excel).

Working knowledge of Sage Pastel Accounting is essential.

Must have own reliable transport and preferably live in the surrounding JHB South area.

Willingness to be trained and act as a Fire Fighter / First Aider / SHE Representative.

Pay: R14 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
