Music Teacher Position

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging music education across various grades, fostering creativity, and supporting learners in developing musical knowledge and performance skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music (or equivalent qualification).
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
• Proven experience in teaching music in a school environment.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, practical training, and performance.
• Ability to teach a variety of instruments and vocal techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver structured music lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Introduce learners to music theory, history, and appreciation.
• Provide practical training in instruments and vocal performance.
• Organize and lead choirs, ensembles, and school music groups.
• Prepare learners for concerts, competitions, and cultural showcases.
• Collaborate with staff to integrate music into cross-curricular themes.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards, and professional conduct.
