Job description
A vacancy exists for an experienced Medical Receptionist/Administrator based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff
- Schedule patient appointments and theatre procedures
- Obtain medical aid authorizations
- Submit billing to medical aids
- Greet patients, assist with paperwork, and process payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- At least 5 years medical reception experience or similar position is a requirement
- Advanced computer skills
- Strong coordination and administrative skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
