iqbusiness is seeking to employ a Marketing Specialist on a 12-month contract to collaborate with an international partner from our offices in Welgemoed, Cape Town, Northern Suburbs. This is a hybrid role (3 days on-site; 2 days WFH).
As a B2B Marketing Operations Coordinator, you will support the marketing team with a focus on financial administration, digital asset organisation, and process coordination. You will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and internal stakeholders to maintain administration, sales collateral, and compile performance reporting insights.
Key Responsibilities:Reporting and Project Management:* Oversee the team’s shared folder structure to ensure all sales collateral, campaign assets, briefs, and templates are systematically version-controlled, named consistently, and easily accessible internally and by the sales teams
- Manage the B2B marketing planner and the project pipeline for the design team to ensure all deadlines are met
- Monitor active campaigns and integrate critical performance indicators, such as B2B buying signals and B2B lead generation data, into the active reporting dashboards
- Coordinate and issue the Monthly Marketing Update
- Establish and govern team workflows to maintain high-quality standards across campaigns, email service providers, new WordPress landing pages, and creative briefs for social media and design teams
- Process for sharing LI posts with the sales team | Develop and execute a structured workflow for sharing relevant LinkedIn content with the sales team to maximise organic reach
- Partner with the digital marketing team and key internal colleagues to close the loop on campaign measurement and reporting on performance outcomes regarding content and asset efficacy
- Provide operational assistance for market-focused events and serve as a dependable cross-functional backup for team colleagues when required Financial Administration:* Generating and receipting Purchase Orders on behalf of the team
- Oversee and manage incoming invoices for the team
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor and supplier queries regarding financial documentation, Purchase Orders, and invoices
- Administer team business expenses within SAP Concur
- Assist with new supplier onboarding and setup processes Sales Collateral Maintenance:* Update and maintain existing PPT sales collateral to reflect accurate programme dates, fees, naming conventions, and taglines
- Produce PPT factsheets for new programs Event Operations and Logistics:* Conduct operational testing for new events, as well as creating and scheduling the configuration patterns for those sessions
- Manage the foundational creation of events to ensure full visibility and complete awareness of the operational execution process
- Execute daily data synchronisation by manually transferring contacts from Salesforce campaigns into specific Zoom events
- Partner with the Executive Development Services team to provide post-event notifications and ensure attendee statuses are accurately updated within Salesforce.
- Monitor and manage event reminders over three months Special Initiatives:* Coordinate and support the day-to-day execution of the participant advocacy initiative
- Support the team with the creation of new landing pages and updating content for existing ones
Minimum Requirements:* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Marketing Specialist, Marketing Assistant, Traffic Manager or in a similar marketing execution role
- Working knowledge of, or a strong demonstrated interest in learning, Customer Relationship Management platforms (specifically Salesforce) and Content Management Systems (specifically WordPress)
- Proven experience managing marketing activity planners, tracking creative project lists for design teams, and maintaining strict version control over digital sales assets and collateral
- Hands-on experience with financial administration tasks, including raising and receipting Purchase Orders, managing invoices, and administering corporate expenses (ideally utilising SAP Concur)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in copywriting

- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and self-directed, with confidence to flag issues early
- Solid foundational analytical skills
