JOB SCOPE
The Marketing Senior Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Safe-Hub South Africa's integrated marketing, communications, and brand strategy. The role operates within Safe-Hub's global marketing structure and is guided by the global marketing strategy. It ensures that all marketing activities strengthen the organisation's reputation, increase stakeholder engagement, amplify programme impact and contribute to fundraising, advocacy and organisational growth.
This is a highly strategic yet hands-on leadership role requiring an individual who can seamlessly move between strategy, project management and execution. As the national marketing lead, the incumbent oversees the complete marketing function—from strategic planning and campaign development to content creation, brand governance, stakeholder engagement, creative direction, reporting and communications—while managing multiple priorities across operational sites, executive leadership, partners, donors and global teams.
The role requires exceptional organisational ability, creativity, sound judgement and the agility to respond to changing organisational priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

CORE COMPETENCIES, ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS and PREFERENCES EDUCATIONAL:
✓Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, Brand Management, Business Management or related field.
Preferred
✓Honours Degree in Marketing, Strategic Communications or Business Management.
✓Postgraduate qualification in Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications or Brand Management.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Minimum
✓Minimum 5 Years’ experience in marketing, communications, brand management or public relations.
✓Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior marketing management or leadership role.
✓Demonstrated experience developing and implementing integrated marketing and communications strategies
✓Experience managing organisational branding and reputation.
✓Experience leading multi-channel marketing campaigns.
✓Experience in content development, copywriting and editorial management.
✓Experience managing digital marketing and social media platforms.
✓Experience coordinating marketing agencies and creative suppliers.
✓Experience leading event marketing and stakeholder communications.
✓Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a complex organisation.
✓Experience producing reports for executive leadership, donors or corporate stakeholders.
✓Strong project management experience with the ability to deliver multiple priorities concurrently.
Highly Desirable
✓Experience within the NGO, education, youth development or social impact sector.
✓Experience supporting fundraising and donor communications.

Pay: R65 000,00 - R70 000,00 per month
