LAUNDRY SUPERVISOR – PRESSED ON POINT

Position Summary
Pressed on Point is seeking a detail-driven Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure premium quality standards, and lead a high-performing team. This role combines hands-on laundry work with staff supervision, inventory control, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Quality

• Operate and monitor all laundry equipment (washers, dryers, pressing).
• Inspect linens and garments for quality, stains, and damage.
• Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

Inventory & Equipment

• Manage stock of linens, uniforms, and cleaning supplies.
• Conduct monthly inventory checks.
• Report and follow up on faulty equipment and maintenance needs.

Team Leadership

• Train staff on laundry procedures, safety, and equipment use.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure quality standards are met.
• Support hiring, scheduling, and performance management.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce health and safety standards, including PPE use.
• Handle chemicals safely and follow all company procedures.
• Report hazards, incidents, and risks promptly.

Teamwork & Communication

• Communicate clearly with team members and management.
• Build a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ laundry or housekeeping experience
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
