Join our I&J Unit in Cape Town or Johannesburg, as a JUNIOR KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER and play a key role in managing and growing wholesale, foodservice, retail and export key accounts by driving profitable sales, strengthening customer relationships and achieving volume and profitability targets.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to: National Wholesale and Food Service Manager
Key Areas of Impact:
Key Account and Customer Relationship Management
- Manage wholesale, foodservice, retail and export customer accounts by building strong customer relationships, conducting regular business reviews, resolving customer issues and complaints and maintaining effective communication.
Sales Growth, Targets and Profitability Management
- Drive profitable sales growth by achieving volume, value, and profitability targets through effective management of pricing, rebates, trade investment, trading terms, customer performance and SKU profitability.
Promotions, Listings and Market Execution
- Manage product listings, promotional activities, new product launches, pricing and in-store execution to maximise sales opportunities and market presence.
Stock, Ordering, Logistics and Export Coordination
- Manage demand forecasting, stock availability, order processing, deliveries, inventory reporting and export coordination to ensure efficient supply and customer service.
Agent, Internal Stakeholder and Operational Administration
- Coordinate third party agents and collaborate with internal teams to support sales execution, business planning, reporting, customer administration, trade debtors and operational compliance.
What It Takes to Succeed:
Experience that set you up for success:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar environment.
- Experience within the FMCG / Wholesale / Food Service space is required.
Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:
- Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
- A Degree/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Commerce or similar.
Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success:
- Required to travel nationally to see Regional Customers.
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
