Junior Development Manager

We’re now looking for a motivated Junior Development Manager to join our Cape Town team and play a key role in bringing new projects to realisation.

The Role
As a Junior Development Manager, you will assist in managing property development projects from inception through to completion. You’ll work closely with our senior development and architectural teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination of development projects from feasibility to completion.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and report on timelines and costs.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and professional consultants.
• Support in project budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and cost control.
• Contribute to development proposals, project documentation, and feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, municipal requirements, and health & safety standards.
• Provide administrative and reporting support to the Development Manager and Directors.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Mathematics subject mark must be a minimum of 60%
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Excel-based feasibility tools is advantageous.
• A proactive, driven, and detail-oriented attitude.
