Emeris, National Office in Waterfall (Midrand) has a vacancy for a Junior Business Analyst.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Analysis and Reporting

• Pull data across the sales funnel for Business Analyst and Senior Business Analyst and identify areas for efficiency and improvement.
• Develop sales report for each campus and ensure consistency throughout each of them for reporting purposes.
• Compile and maintain current sales report on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis for year-on-year reference, reporting, and audit.
• Create sales funnel forecasts with a high level of accuracy to guide MR's and HSRs in managing and clearing bottlenecks.
• Outline sales performance against year-on-year and target year-to-date data with a detailed breakdown across various areas.
• Prepare suggestions and recommendations on request, on behalf of Business Analyst, to be used for senior sales management team in terms of analysis, reporting, and automation.
• Support Business Analyst on the annual competitor analysis to benchmark the business against the market from a quantitative and qualitative standpoint.
• Support Business Analyst to create ad-hoc sales reporting templates and dashboards, and receive, prioritise, and respond to data and reporting requests from campuses and the sales team - escalating where these conflict with scheduled reporting deadlines.

Database Management

• Manage and maintain campus database on CRM and excel-based files.
• Use data management techniques to ensure accurate version management and minimal data loss.
• Leverage Power Query and ETL methodology to manage data in a manner that is efficient and effective for campus and national use.

Training & Support

• Provide campuses and sales staff with training and support on a variety of reports and tools.
• Host regular training sessions with marketing assistants and campus sales managers to provide refreshers on best practices in terms of reporting.
• Assist new joiners within the sales team with report training and onboarding. In addition, provide them with a holistic view of all essential reports whereby they are directly involved.
• Follow a training script with new marketing assistants in terms of data capturing and reporting.
• Run comprehensive training on data integrity so all sales staff understand the process.

Data Integrity & Security

• Support the Business Analyst and Senior by assisting to monitor accuracy of data across a variety of sales reports and address areas of concern.
• Run and manage quarterly data integrity audits with each campus to ensure they remain aligned to best practices and benchmarks.
• Engage on a weekly basis with campuses to understand their challenges around data integrity with a specific focus on CRM challenges and its impact on reporting.
• Identify and investigate basic data quality issues with campuses and provide workable solutions to resolve it.
• Maintain records on the company’s secure platform to remain compliant with POPIA.
• Ensure that all sensitive data contained in reports and files are encrypted and password protected in line with AdvTech IT policies.

Minimum Qualification Requirement:

• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree (Business, Commerce, Marketing, Information Systems, or Computer) Science)
• A Postgraduate Degree (Business, Commerce, Marketing, Information Systems, or Computer Science) would be advantageous.

Minimum Work Experience Requirement:

• Minimum of 1-3 years sales reporting and Analyst experience.
