Junior Accountant

We seek a detail-oriented, proactive Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage financial operations for multiple group entities.

You will ensure accurate records, timely reporting, and compliance while supporting month-end, and audits.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain full set of books using Xero for multiple companies.

Process AP/AR, bank/credit card reconciliations, and inter-company transactions.

Prepare VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL returns and submissions.

Prepare payroll reports

Perform month-end closes, trial balances, and management accounts.

Assist with annual financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and audits.

General ledger maintenance, journal entries, and fixed asset registers

Requirements

Matric with Accounting + Senior Bookkeeping qualification (ICB) or BCom Accounting (preferred).

5+ years’ experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role, ideally in a multi-entity or SME environment.

Proficiency in Xero or equivalent accounting software.

Strong knowledge of Tax (VAT, PAYE) and statutory returns.

Experience with financial statements and audit preparation is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure with deadlines.

Reliable, discreet, and a team player who can work independently when required.

Valid driver’s license and own transport advantageous.

Pay: From R18 500,00 per month
