About You

Are you the person everyone calls before they try turning it off and on again? We're looking for an IT Specialist who loves solving tech puzzles, keeping systems running smoothly, and rescuing colleagues from mysterious error messages. From laptops and networks to warehouses and workstations, you'll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps the business connected. If you enjoy getting hands-on, tackling new challenges, and making technology work better every day, you'll fit right in.

Responsibilities:

IT Support and Systems Administration

  • End-user support across Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS.
  • Hardware, software, connectivity, printing, and access troubleshooting.
  • Help desk and SLA management.
  • User lifecycle and access management.
  • Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Endpoint management, software deployment, patch management, and device compliance.
  • Incident resolution, root cause analysis, and recurring-issue resolution.
  • Technical documentation and record management.

Operational IT Support

  • Support business-critical systems and operational IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot printers, scanners, handheld devices, and related technology.
  • Preventative maintenance and operational readiness checks.
  • Incident response and downtime reduction.
  • Site, shift, and after-hours support where required

Network and Infrastructure Support

  • First- and second-line network troubleshooting.
  • Wired and wireless connectivity support.
  • Network cabling, termination, patching, tracing, testing, and fault-finding.
  • Assist with network equipment deployment and maintenance.
  • Physical infrastructure installation, relocation, and decommissioning.
  • Maintain organised cabling and IT infrastructure standards.
  • Infrastructure documentation and escalation of advanced network issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the Network Specialist on advanced infrastructure and network changes

CCTV and Physical Technology

  • CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic cabling, connectivity, and fault-finding.
  • Equipment installation, relocation, replacement, and decommissioning.
  • Vendor or specialist escalation where required.

Security and Business Continuity

  • Endpoint security and device compliance.
  • Patch management and security remediation support.
  • Access reviews and security incident escalation.
  • Change management.
  • Backup and recovery support.
  • Business continuity support.
  • Adherence to IT security policies and standards.

IT Projects and Implementation

  • Hands-on delivery of IT projects and technical implementations.
  • Infrastructure upgrades, system rollouts, office moves, and equipment deployments.
  • Hardware and infrastructure installation, configuration, testing, relocation, and decommissioning.
  • Ownership of assigned technical project activities from initiation to completion.
  • Technical testing and post-implementation support.
  • Project documentation, SOPs, and technical procedures.
  • Process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives

Asset Management

  • IT asset lifecycle management.
  • Hardware, software, licence, and equipment inventory management.
  • Asset audits and reconciliation.
  • Repairs, warranties, replacements, and decommissioning.
  • Secure disposal and data handling

Procurement and Vendor Coordination

  • IT procurement support.
  • Technical requirements and equipment specifications.
  • Supplier quotation evaluation.
  • Vendor and service-provider coordination.
  • Warranty, repair, delivery, and installation management

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field preferred; relevant practical experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support, IT operations, infrastructure support, network support, or a similar technical role.
  • Demonstrable hands-on IT infrastructure and project implementation experience.
  • Practical experience supporting Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS in a business environment.
  • Practical networking and cabling experience, including troubleshooting and physical implementation.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Endpoint management, patch management, device deployment, and access management experience.
  • Experience supporting business and operational IT equipment.
  • CCTV support experience is advantageous.
  • Warehouse, logistics, distribution, retail, or operational environment experience advantageous.
  • Experience with technical implementations, equipment deployments, upgrades, relocations, and technology rollouts.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own transport is advantageous.
  • Relevant IT certifications advantageous.
  • Strong hands-on technical ability.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Ability to take technical work from problem identification through to implementation and closure
  • Able to work independently and escalate appropriately.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced office and operational environments.
  • Adaptable and willing to work across both support and infrastructure responsibilities.
