POSITION INFO: IT Assistant We are seeking a dedicated IT Assistant to support daily operations in Bloemfontein. This role involves maintaining IT equipment and areas, assisting with hardware collection, and managing stock control. The ideal candidate is structured, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Location: Bloemfontein Position Type: Permanent Working Hours: 07:30 to 16:30 Salary: Market related Dress Code: Smart Casual Requirements Valid driver''s license Own reliable transportation Basic knowledge of IT tools and equipment Strong safety awareness and technical aptitude Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Professional and well-mannered personality Adaptable and flexible approach to tasks Qualifications National Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF 4) One year of IT experience Proficient computer skills Responsibilities Carry and handle IT tools and equipment safely Maintain cleanliness of equipment and designated work areas Assist with various IT tasks and collect hardware or parts as needed Perform regular inspections of IT equipment and locations Maintain organized IT storerooms with fortnightly cleaning Conduct monthly stock counts and inventory control Support general IT cleanliness across all departments
