Complete IT Business Solutions, a leading Managed IT Service Provider based in Sunningdale, is looking for an experienced Intermediate / Senior IT Technician to join our growing technical team.
We are looking for a reliable, technically strong, and client-focused individual who can confidently support business clients across multiple IT environments. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, manage escalated support issues, assist with projects, support junior technicians, and deliver professional on-site and remote support.

The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on technical experience, strong troubleshooting ability, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to take ownership of support requests from start to finish. You must be able to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, document work accurately, and provide a high standard of service to clients.
A valid South African driver’s license is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site IT support to business clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated hardware, software, network, server, and connectivity issues
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 environments, including users, groups, mailboxes, licensing, security settings, and Exchange Online
- Support Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook, and email-related issues
- Assist with Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant changes, mailbox setups, and user onboarding/offboarding
- Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file shares, permissions, and print services
- Assist with server maintenance, patching, monitoring, backups, and basic virtualisation support
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and business applications
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity
- Assist with firewall rule changes, VPN setups, Wi-Fi deployments, and basic network documentation
- Monitor backup jobs, endpoint protection, alerts, and system health checks
- Respond to security-related alerts and assist with basic remediation where required
- Maintain accurate ticket notes, time entries, documentation, and client records
- Assist senior team members with projects, upgrades, migrations, installations, and client site work
- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when required
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal team members
- Follow company procedures, security standards, documentation requirements, and technical best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5years’ experience in IT support or a similar technical role
- Previous MSP or outsourced IT support experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 support
- Good experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Exchange Online
- Experience with Azure/Entra ID, user access, MFA, Conditional Access, and basic identity management
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file permissions, and shared resources
- Solid understanding of networking, including IP addressing, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, NAT, and Wi-Fi
- Experience with business-grade routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Experience troubleshooting printers, scanners, workstations, line-of-business applications, and connectivity issues
- Basic server support experience, including Windows Server, patching, services, event logs, storage, and backups
- Experience with backup solutions, endpoint security, RMM tools, and ticketing systems
- Ability to troubleshoot logically and escalate when required
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks from start to finish
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tickets effectively
- Valid South African driver’s license
- Relevant IT certifications advantageous, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Fortinet, Sophos, or similar
Advantageous Experience
- Sophos, Fortinet, Mikrotik, TP-Link Omada, Aruba, Ubiquiti, or similar networking platforms
- Veeam, Cove, Acronis, Synology, or other backup platforms
- Datto RMM, N-able, Autotask, or similar RMM/ticketing tools
- Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, Bitdefender, DNSFilter, or similar security tools
- Hyper-V, VMware
- Server migrations, workstation rollouts, email migrations, and network upgrades
- VoIP troubleshooting and basic PBX/user support
- Documentation of client networks, passwords, procedures, and support notes
Ideal Candidate

- Can troubleshoot logically across desktop, server, cloud, and network environments
- Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical users
- Is confident working independently at client sites
- Can support and guide junior technicians when needed

- Understands the importance of client service in an MSP environment
