Interim Quality Assurance Administrators x4 - 8 Months Contract
Job Overview: The Quality Assurance Administrator will support EWSETA to all quality assurance functions as required; these include the process of certification: issuing serial numbers, preparing trade certification applications, and submitting them to NAMB. Other functions include learner registrations processes, administration support for assessments, accreditation, data and records management. The incumbents may be required to support qualification development functions. Their role ensures that all the necessary documentation and processes meet regulatory standards, and they act as a liaison between candidates, training institutions, and regulatory bodies, ensuring the smooth progression of certification, compliance with the QCTO framework and quality assurance activities that are aligned with the EWSETA objectives.
Purpose of the role: The primary purpose of the Quality Assurance Administrator’s role is to enhance EWSETA’s ensuring that the energy and water sectors maintain high standards for education, training, and certification. They help ensure that accredited training providers deliver programs that meet the necessary national standards and that learners receive valid, qualityassured qualifications. Their role is central to promoting and maintaining excellence in the training and certification systems within the energy and water sectors in South Africa.
Administrative Support
- Data and Records Management
- Ensures that all records, including applications, serial numbers, and issued certificates, are properly archived and stored for future reference or audit purposes
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of certification
- Maintain an organised filing system for all trade test, accreditation, assessments, and monitoring reports
- Verification and submission of trade test certificates to NAMB
- Provide support for quarterly reporting and audits
Information and Data Management
- Capture accurate learner information
- Verify supporting documentation
- Maintain Management Information System (MIS) records
- Produce quality assurance reports
- Analyse administrative data
- Monitor turnaround times
- Maintain accurate filing systems
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality
Communication
- Communicate professionally with stakeholders
- Prepare clear written correspondence
- Respond to provider and learner enquiries
- Draft meeting minutes
- Prepare reports
- Present information accurately
- Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- National diploma (NQF Level 6) in Business Administration, Office Administration, Public Administration, Office Management, Human Resources, Administrative Management
- Minimum of 3 years administrative and Business Communications experience in fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
