Job description

The role has a strong focus on HR reporting, data insights and operational delivery, contributing to decision-making, talent management and organisational effectiveness. This role strongly supports the development of HR data, automation and AI capabilities across the HR value chain.

The successful incumbent will provide primary support to Hollard Health and three HINT Pan-African subsidiaries.

Hollard Health is a specialised health insurance business within Hollard, focused on providing integrated, pan-African health cover solutions for employers and their employees. It delivers locally compliant (admitted) health insurance across multiple African markets, supported by global administration capabilities and digital tools

About Hollard International (HINT) Hollard International is the pan-African division of the Hollard Group, responsible for expanding and managing insurance operations across multiple African markets. It operates through a federated model, supporting in-country businesses with specialised expertise, strategic direction, and shared capabilities, while local teams retain operational accountability.

Key responsibilities

HR Reporting, Data & Governance

  • Own and deliver HR reporting and analytics across HINT.
  • Support REMCO and Board reporting, including preparation of packs, insights and tracking.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision making and people strategy.
  • Track key metrics including performance, engagement, talent and workforce data.
  • Drive data accuracy, consistency and reporting improvements across country teams.

Data, Systems & Future Capability

  • Work with country HR teams to improve data quality and reporting maturity.
  • Support initiatives relating to automation, AI and process improvement.
  • Contribute to improving systems, dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Identify opportunities for digitisation and operational efficiencies.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Prepare and maintain HR documentation including templates, contracts and related materials.
  • Provide support on HR systems and workflows, ensuring efficient coordination of activities.
  • Support policy implementation and respond to general HR queries.
  • Coordinate vendor-related processes including procurement and invoicing.
  • Support payroll-related processes and coordination.
  • Assist with employee benefits and development initiatives (e.g. study support).
  • Support delivery of learning and development plans including training coordination.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Support performance management processes, including reviews and moderation.
  • Assist with talent reviews, succession planning and development initiatives.
  • Track and report on the People scorecard outcomes.
  • Provide advisory support to managers on performance and development.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment delivery, including job specs, sourcing and onboarding .
  • Ensure recruitment aligns with approved structures and workforce plans.

Learning & Development

  • Support Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
  • Support Training Plans and Workplace Skills Plans.
  • Assist with facilitation of training programmes.
  • Support digital learning content creation.
  • Provide advisory support to country HR teams.
  • Partner on programme delivery such as leadership initiatives.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Support Gallup survey processes end-to-end.
  • Support training for line managers on engagement outcomes.
  • Assist with implementation of engagement action plans.
  • Support wellness initiatives and team activities.
