Housekeeper

We are seeking a highly experienced, dedicated, and meticulous Live-In Housekeeper to join our team at a prestigious guest house in the vibrant Blouberg area. Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and tidying of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to the highest standards.
• Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and folding of linen and guest clothing.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with guest requests and ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment.
• Potentially assist with light meal preparation if required (depending on the establishment).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Housekeeper in a hotel or guest house environment.
• Minimum education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and possesses a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be willing to live on-site (accommodation provided).
• Preference will be given to candidates with an understanding of hospitality service.
