Housekeeper / Hospitality Attendant

Tuscan Villa Guest House is seeking a dedicated, trustworthy, and experienced Housekeeper/Hospitality Attendant who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The successful candidate will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to a high standard before check-in.
• Make beds and replace bed linen and towels.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitise bathrooms.
• Restock guest amenities, including toiletries, tea, coffee, bottled water, and refreshments.
• Clean all public areas, including the reception, dining room, lounge, hallways, patios, and pool area.
• Assist with breakfast preparation, table setting, serving, and cleaning after service.
• Wash, dry, iron, and organise guest house linen and towels.
• Monitor housekeeping and hospitality supplies and report shortages.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure they meet guest house standards.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2–3 years' proven experience as a Housekeeper, Room Attendant, or Hospitality Assistant in a guest house, hotel, lodge, or bed and breakfast establishment.
• Experience with laundry, linen care, and housekeeping procedures.
• Experience assisting with breakfast service or basic food preparation will be an advantage.
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts when required.
• Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties.
• Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Knowledge and Skills Excellent housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
• Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
