RCL FOODS is seeking a HITW Receiving Clerk FTC to join our RCL FOODS Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Shift Warehouse Controller. RCL FOODS entrusts the responsible individual to ensure the timeous and correct receiving and receipting of items into the warehouse and the SAP system.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Receiving
- Receive materials and stock items in a compliant and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and Company standards in maintaining effective control over the physical product flow into the warehouse.
- Ensure high levels of housekeeping are maintained.
- Accept all deliveries of stock for the warehouse including ensuring that they are not damaged, the cold chain has been maintained and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
- Raise delivery notes against the relevant accounts
- Return stock to suppliers, where necessary.
- Ensure all stock has serial numbers.
- Complete the GRN for stock received from suppliers and forward to the Warehouse Controller.
- Introduce all stock delivered into the warehouse.
- Administer all paperwork and delivery notes as per defined procedures.
- Complete required documentation, categorisation and any labelling per Vector standards
Information and Data Management
- Accurately and regularly capture data into SAP to enable access to reliable and accurate stock transactions and related data and reporting for trend analysis and decision making
Safety and Security
- Safeguard the stock in the warehouse at all times against loss and damage
- Comply with applicable company policies including those pertaining, but not limited to health, safety, environment, risk and quality, including HACCP/ISO.
- Conduct housekeeping in accordance with standard operating procedures
Effective Teamwork and Self-Management
- Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritising, and self-development
- Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained
- Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof and provide appropriate resolution.
Minimum Requirements
Experience
- 1 Years' relevant experience in a store or warehouse environment
- Relevant SAP experience
Knowledge
- Receiving principles and tools
- Warehouse-based business processed and practices
