Job Title: Health & Safety Support Administrator
Location: Remote/ Office-based as required-Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Salary: R23,000 – R27,000 per month (depending on experience)

Urang Group is a leading property management company providing expert services across London and beyond. Our Health & Safety team is responsible for ensuring residential buildings remain safe, compliant and operationally effective through strong portfolio oversight, contractor coordination and proactive risk management.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HS Service Support Administrator to manage multiple property portfolios by overseeing health & safety risks, compliance actions, contractor coordination and operational task delivery across assigned buildings.
The Role
The HS Service Support Administrator will play a key role in the day-to-day management of multiple health & safety portfolios. This position is responsible for monitoring operational risks, coordinating remedial actions, managing contractor engagement, tracking compliance tasks and ensuring all actions are progressed within required timeframes.
The successful candidate will work closely with Property Managers, contractors and internal teams to ensure compliance workflows remain organised, visible and effectively managed across all assigned properties. This is a fast-paced operational role requiring strong administrative capability, portfolio coordination skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor health & safety tasks, risks, remedial works and compliance actions across multiple property portfolios.
- Track outstanding actions, ageing risks, contractor updates and overdue works to ensure timely completion and escalation where required.
- Coordinate with contractors, Property Managers and internal stakeholders to arrange access, obtain updates, manage approvals and drive action completion.
- Maintain accurate portfolio records, compliance data, reports, certificates and operational documentation within internal systems.
- Monitor portfolio-wide compliance deadlines and ensure all required follow-ups are actioned proactively.
- Escalate high-risk, overdue, or unresolved issues to relevant management where necessary.
- Support onboarding of new properties into compliance and operational systems.
- Assist with portfolio reporting, operational updates, and risk tracking for management review.
- Ensure all actions, communications, approvals and contractor updates maintain a clear audit trail.
- Support continuous improvement of operational workflows, tracking processes and portfolio visibility.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in administration, portfolio coordination, compliance support, or operational management.
- Experience managing multiple tasks, workflows, or operational actions across several properties, projects, or portfolios.
- Experience coordinating contractors and managing operational follow-ups.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise high volumes of work effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong data management capability.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage professionally with contractors, Property Managers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, workflow systems and document management platforms.
- Experience within property management, health & safety, compliance, or facilities management environments (desirable).
- Understanding of remedial works coordination, risk management, or compliance processes (desirable).

Benefits
- Salary: R23,000 – R27,000 per month
- Working Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 (South African time), Monday to Friday, including a 60-minute lunch break
- 15 days annual leave plus all SA public holidays.
A stable internet connection is essential, particularly during load shedding. This position supports Urang Property Management’s commitment to Employment Equity.
